My mission as a Christian educator is to have students remember, “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God” (I Corinthians 10:31). They recognize God pleasing actions in others, reflect on their own actions and have forethought in their own God pleasing act. My mission as teacher is to instill in them a belief that success comes in cans, not in cants. They should not be afraid to try difficult tasks or assignments. My classroom climate will allow them to test the waters without fear of humiliation of failure. My mission as educator is to show them they are life long learners. There is at least one area of school that they enjoy and can find success in. The learning structure they are using today can be beneficial for them in the future.
