God's Word says, "I myself will tend my sheep and have them
lie down, declares the Soverign LORD. I will search for the lost and
bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the
weak...I will shepherd the flock with justice." Ezekiel
34:14, 16
We are the people of his pasture - the sheep of His nail marked
hands. He laid down His life to wash our sins away. He carries us in
His powerful, gentle arms. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He
will bring us safely home to Heaven.

The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 10:17, "Faith comes from
hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."
By looking at the many faces in our congregation, we can see how God
has worked faith in the hearts of His people here at St. Luke's
through His Word, and how he keeps His Word as the center of
everything that happens at St. Luke's. May God continue to feed the
many lambs of St. Luke's through His powerful and saving Word. To God
be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
