FEE PAYMENT POLICY
Adopted: April 2003
Payment Plan
Each parent or guardian is responsible for the timely payment of fees
(Student Fees [formerly Materials Fee], Technology Fee, Educational
Fee, Preschool Fees, Extended Care Fees, non-member tuition, and band
lessons.) The following three plans are available to meet the needs
of our families.
Plan 1 Full Year Plan
All fees and costs paid in full on Registration Day or prior to the
first day of school.
Plan 2 Semester Plan
Payment may be made in two installments due no later than
Registration Day for the first semester and January 15th
for the second semester.
Plan 3 Monthly Plan
A down payment of $100.00 for one child and $50.00 for each
additional child in the family up to three children will be due on or
before Registration Day. The balance divided into 8 equal
installments due on the 15th day of each month, October
through May. Payment will be considered past due after 15 days.
Special Situations
Special terms other than the options above will be considered only
upon written request to the TSL Joint Board. Such requests must be
received in advance or as soon as the situation arises.
Fees Agreement
On or before Registration Day, parents or guardians will be given a
fees agreement which will detail payment options. They will be asked
to select a fees option and commit to that option with their
signature at Registration Day.
Down Payment
If a family will not be paying their bill in full, a down payment
will need to be made. During the 2003-2004 school year, the following
down payments were established. Please check with the school office for the current schedule.
1st child in family: $100.00
2nd child in family: $50.00
3rd child in family: $50.00
Maximum down payment: $200.00
Dealing with Overdue Accounts
-
A late fee of $15.00 will be in any month if the account has a past
due balance.
-
At 30 days past due, a statement will be mailed giving the status of
the account and urging payment.
-
At 45 days or more past due, a phone call will be made by a member of
the Joint Board to discuss the problem with the parent or guardian.
-
If a resolution to the matter is not reached by 60 days past due, a
meeting will be scheduled with the TSL Joint Board during which time
the matter must be resolved.
