God's Word
says, "I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down,
declares the Sovereign LORD. I will search for the lost and bring
back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak,
but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the
flock with justice." Ezekiel 34:15, 16
The flock
of St. Luke's belongs to Jesus. He bought her with his flawless
innocent life, and his tortured death on the cross, and his
triumphant rising from the dead on Easter. The flock belongs to Him.
The glory is His alone!
We see
just some of the obvious outward blessings that Jesus has rained down
on us by grace alone. So many of Jesus' blessings are spiritual -
invisible - yet obvious through the eyes of faith. We cannot thank
Him enough for his countless kindnesses. We pray that Jesus will make
us faithful stewards - using all we have and all that we are to
glorify Him.
God bless
us everyone - by grace alone, faith alone, Scripture alone!
To God
alone all glory!
